David Williford

Jonathan David Williford is a husband and father that has been involved in Summer Camps and Outdoor Education since childhood. David is a graduate of Houston Baptist University with a double major in Mass Communications and Speech Communications. Having previously served as a Marine & OIF combat veteran as well as worked at camps such as Sky Ranch, Camp Compass, and more, David has passion for leadership development and discipleship.

In his free time, David works as an entrepreneur and small business owner, as well as hanging out with his kids!

Emily Lyons

Ms. Emily brings several years of experience in church and camp ministry to Anothen. She holds a master’s degree in Human Services from Liberty University and a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Hardin-Simmons University. Outside of school, Emily enjoys traveling, going to the theater, and spending time with her family, especially her son.

Angie Williams

Mrs. Angie brings a love for Jesus and years of experience caring for and teaching children. She holds a degree in Educational Studies from Grand Canyon University, and her background includes children’s ministry, in-home childcare, and seven years as a public-school teaching assistant. She is passionate about nurturing children in a faith-filled environment surrounded by God’s creation. Outside of school, Angie enjoys spending time with her husband, Wes, and their family, getting creative with crafts, and fishing.

Amanda Mcferren-Curtius

Mrs. Amanda has over a decade of experience in nonprofit management and executive leadership, and holds a degree from the University of North Texas in Journalism/Public Relations and Marketing. She is passionate about building relationships, building brands and making a positive impact on both her environment and community. She spends her spare time hiking, and backpacking our beautiful National Parks with her husband and children!
